The Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America / WLSFA is a 501( C ) 3 Charity. Powered by thousands of weight loss surgery patients, medical professionals and industry partners we are "Paying It Forward" funding grants for weight loss and reconstructive plastic surgery grants.
The WLSFA Network of care holds a national Annual Fundrasier each year in Las Vegas. Local area chapters hold fundraisers across the country. Our goal is to fund as many grants as we can for people denied access to the medical treatment of morbid obesity.
Every 48 seconds someone in the US dies from an illness related to obesity. Less than 1% of morbidly obese people have access to medical treatments that can save their lives.
